Joe Bonamassa, King of the Guitar
Joe, my favorite guitar player in the world today, is without question. His mind boggling energy, articulation, speed, and tempo changes are. His amazing vocals are as well clean, articulate, and smooth. Tight as tight can be is the band. There's no such thing as perfection in a live show, but this show came close, I know. At 8PM sharp, Joe started. Amazing band mates at 9PM exactly, he introduced and thanked everyone for coming out. He then played until 10 PM exactly. For more, the band came back and did a 1 song encore and took a bow after we roared. The ultimate professional is Joe, and all business when he's playing a live show. As a fan, I respect and appreciate that. Literally beyond amazing is his guitar playing ability. From very soft and quiet to huge saturating power chords, and everything in between, it is. The sound was amazing too. Nice, not crazy loud, which is. Very well done too was the light show. A perfect night, an amazing show, and totally blown away by Death Becomes Her and the band, I was. Thanks, Joe B, and guys, you made our night very special and unforgettable. Top-notch is the staff at The Chicago Theater. Gorgeous is the venue, and flawless are the acoustics.
